A Sales Prize Nobody Knew to Document
12 made. Given to GameStop regional managers. One has surfaced. Eleven are somewhere out there.
In 2022, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga launched to strong sales. To celebrate, LEGO produced 12 brick-built Boba Fett statues and gave them to GameStop regional managers based on their sales performance. Most of the recipients almost certainly had no idea what they were holding. Only one example has surfaced publicly.
The Origin
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was released on April 5, 2022 — a landmark title covering all nine mainline Star Wars films. GameStop was a key retail partner for the launch. As a reward for strong regional sales performance, LEGO produced 12 custom brick-built Boba Fett statues and distributed them to GameStop regional managers. The exact criteria for receiving one, the timeline of distribution, and whether all 12 were actually distributed have never been documented.
The choice of Boba Fett as the subject is fitting — the character had enjoyed a major resurgence in popularity through The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, and was prominently featured in the Skywalker Saga game. A brick-built Boba Fett statue was a natural choice for a Star Wars gaming milestone award.
The Only Known Example
In April 2026, MandR (MandRproductions on YouTube) documented one example on his Instagram account, describing it as part of what he called “The Big 3” — his three rarest LEGO Star Wars brick-built statues, alongside the NY I ♥ Yoda statue and a Christmas Yoda figure. MandR acquired the Boba Fett from Dog House Gaming (@doghousegaming), a gaming and collectibles store in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.
How Dog House Gaming came to have the statue — whether they purchased it from a GameStop manager, received it through trade, or acquired it through other means — has not been publicly disclosed.
Beyond MandR’s Instagram post, no detailed documentation of the statue exists publicly. No dimensions, no piece count, no photographs of the certificate or any accompanying documentation. The physical description of the build is limited to what is visible in MandR’s photographs.
The Other Eleven
Eleven of the twelve statues remain completely unaccounted for. GameStop regional managers are not typically serious toy collectors — they are retail executives who happened to work in the gaming industry during a strong sales period. Most of the recipients almost certainly have no idea their prize has any collector significance, let alone what it might be worth.
If the Commander Cody precedent is any guide, some of the eleven may have been discarded, some may be in storage, and some may have changed hands informally without any public record. The GameStop retail context makes this particularly challenging — there is no obvious community of former GameStop regional managers who might surface these items the way LEGO collectors might.

What We Don’t Know
- The physical description — no confirmed dimensions, piece count, or detailed construction description exists publicly. What does it look like beyond MandR’s photographs?
- The distribution criteria — exactly which GameStop managers received one and based on what sales metrics? Was it truly regional or were there other criteria?
- The builder — who built these? Was it a LEGO master builder, a third party, or Brick Galleria (who built the Hoth controller stand for a similar 2022 promotion)?
- Certificate or documentation — did the statues come with any certificate of authenticity or accompanying materials like the Commander Cody figures?
- The Dog House Gaming provenance — how did Dog House Gaming in Quakertown, PA acquire theirs? Was it directly from a GameStop manager?
