The first set in the rectangular box format that LEGO used for Star Wars exclusives from 2013 through 2015. COMCON032 introduced JEK-14 to the world weeks before his debut in the Yoda Chronicles animated series — making this the only SDCC exclusive where the set itself was a character reveal. The minifigure is unique to this set and has never appeared in any retail release.
San Diego Comic-Con 2013 ran July 18–21. LEGO brought two Star Wars exclusives: COMCON032, the JEK-14 Mini Stealth Starfighter, and the Hobbit Micro Scale Bag End — sold separately, each requiring a ticket to purchase. 1,000 of the JEK-14 set were produced and individually numbered. Price was $39.99.
This collection holds two examples. One is sealed. The second was acquired already open and contains the instruction booklet and parts in a resealable adhesive-seal bag — different from the ziplock format used in the 2012 tins. The bag has a tear and some pieces are loose; the completeness of the contents cannot be confirmed from this example.
The Rectangular Box Format
COMCON032 marked a complete departure from the cylindrical tin format used across all three 2012 exclusives. From 2013 through 2015, LEGO used a standardised rectangular box for its Star Wars event exclusives across SDCC, Star Wars Celebration, and Fan Expo Canada — eleven sets in total sharing the same physical format. The boxes are rigid, black-bordered, and sized consistently across the run. The format allowed for more elaborate full-bleed artwork on each face and a more traditional shelf-display presentation than the tins permitted.
The Box
The box is a rigid rectangular format with a mottled blue-grey stone texture border running around all faces — a consistent design element across the 2013–2015 exclusive box series. The overall palette is dark: deep blue, black, and electric white from the lightning effects throughout the artwork.
The front face carries the primary product information and the main illustration — the built Stealth Starfighter model with the JEK-14 minifigure alongside it, set against a backdrop of lightning and a dark chamber interior with a circular monitor visible in the background:

The San Diego Comic-Con International Exclusive badge appears in the lower right corner of the front face.
The left and right side faces carry a continuous grid of glowing cylindrical pods — blue-green lit, rounded at the top, arranged in rows behind a diagonal beam of light. Given JEK-14’s origin as a Force-sensitive clone created by Count Dooku on Kamino using kyber crystal energy, these are almost certainly intended to represent Kaminoan clone growth chambers. The imagery ties directly to the character’s backstory as depicted in the Yoda Chronicles animated series.
The top face carries the Galactic Empire crest — rendered in copper tones against the blue-grey stone texture, with a glowing energy burst at the centre and lightning cracking outward from it.
The bottom face is plain dark cardboard, sealed with two circular sticker seals.
The back face is black with a starfield background and carries the congratulations text and unit numbering:

JEK-14
JEK-14 is a character original to LEGO Star Wars media — specifically the Yoda Chronicles animated series that premiered on Cartoon Network in 2013. He does not appear in any Star Wars film. In the series, he is a Force-sensitive Sith clone created by Count Dooku on Kamino, enhanced with energy from stolen kyber crystals. Only one clone emerged from the process — Sith Clone #14, known as Jek. He ultimately refuses allegiance to either the Sith or the Jedi, choosing instead to be left alone.
COMCON032 was released at SDCC in July 2013, ahead of the Yoda Chronicles premiere. It was the first public appearance of the character in physical form. The set was timed deliberately as a character reveal — attendees were purchasing a minifigure of a character most of them had never encountered before.
The Minifigure
The JEK-14 minifigure (sw0475a) is unique to COMCON032 and has never appeared in any retail set. He wears primarily white armour with red detailing — Phase II clone trooper styling modified for his Sith origins. His most distinctive feature is a transparent blue left arm, representing his Force-imbued crystalline power — the first LEGO minifigure ever produced with a transparent limb. He carries a blue lightsaber with a white hilt, also unique to this figure at the time of release. The double-sided face head carries a composed expression on one side and a power-crazed expression with blue lightning emanating from the eyes on the other. He also includes a hair piece.
At least one documented example has been received with the minifigure pre-built inside the bag rather than in parts, and with the hair piece missing — suggesting a packaging quality control issue on at least some units. Whether this was isolated or systematic has not been documented across multiple examples.
The Build
The set contains 105 pieces to build a mini version of JEK-14’s Stealth Starfighter — a dark, angular vessel built primarily in black and dark red. The design resembles a modified E-wing starfighter. Wings fold in for flight mode and out for landing. A cannon is mounted on top facing forward. The rear carries the head of R4-G0, an astromech droid, integrated into the hull. At the ends of the wings are additional cannons. The model has no display base — it sits on its landing configuration with wings extended. The completed model is visually striking and thematically coherent with the dark palette of the Yoda Chronicles setting.
The Distribution
COMCON032 required a ticket to purchase — attendees had to queue for a ticket which then permitted them to buy the set. This was a change from the pure first-come-first-served format of the 2012 sets. The full distribution mechanics — how many tickets were available per day, whether a preview night allocation existed, and the per-transaction limit — are not fully documented in collector sources. 1,000 were produced and individually numbered.
Unnumbered examples exist in the secondary market — the origin of these is not documented. They may represent samples, press copies, or production overruns.
Current Value
Brick Ranker places the current value at approximately $2,183 sealed — a 5,357% increase over the $39.99 original price, and the highest value of any set documented in this collection to date. The exclusive minifigure accounts for the majority of the premium. Brickset lists the value at approximately $598, reflecting different methodology. Secondary market sales are infrequent — Brick Ranker records only seven sales since 2023 — making reliable pricing difficult to establish.

This collection holds two examples: #255 and #290 of 1000. #290 is sealed with the original circular sticker seals intact. #255 was acquired already open and contains the instruction booklet and parts in a resealable adhesive-seal bag with a tear; some pieces are loose and completeness cannot be confirmed.
What We Don’t Know
- The side panel artwork identity — the cylindrical glowing pods on the left and right faces of the box are almost certainly Kaminoan clone growth chambers, directly referencing JEK-14’s origin story. Whether this interpretation is correct, or whether they represent bacta tanks or another type of containment vessel, has not been confirmed in any official documentation of the box’s design.
- The unnumbered examples — unnumbered versions of COMCON032 appear in the secondary market. Their origin — samples, press copies, or production overruns — has not been publicly documented.
- The QC issue scope — at least one opened example has been documented with the minifigure pre-built and the hair piece missing. Whether this was an isolated packaging error or a systematic issue across multiple units is not known.
- Full distribution mechanics — the ticket-required purchasing system is documented but the daily allocation, preview night availability, and per-transaction limit have not been confirmed across collector sources.
